“Even an empty word could mean something to an empty heart.”
In the midst of the mist, there’s something frozen that cannot be thawed – my heart.
She painted his world blue while hers was black and white. And he can’t find the difference between their sadness anymore.
I bled black while you were busy looking for the dark side in me.
I turned into a potato long before you said ‘I like you”.
You are trapped in your own sorry little world full of big dark thoughts.
Do not hold on to me when you have no intent of holding on to the other side. Don’t think that I can handle two weights at the same time. You gotta help me with gravity.
I have flown to places I’ve never been to and I don’t know if such voyage is what’s making me sad or the fact that I could never be anywhere near those places.
I saw you cry. I knew how much you’ve tried. You tried too hard to be the person you wanted to be. But it broke you down. Because the person you are aiming to be isn’t the person you are supposed to become. Because while you were busy shredding the last bits of yourself, you forgot to face the mirror and see how ugly you’re becoming. A flesh tainted with crimson poison. Bloody from all the changes you’ve raged upon yourself. But it’s okay. That is alright. Sometimes, we have to bleed in order for us to be renewed. And sometimes, we need to be scarred to be the warriors we deemed to be. But you don’t have to try so hard now. You can let go of the scrapers now. You can stop trying to become what you to want to be. You can now be the person you’re ought to become. Do not be a butterfly who came too early in the world, and ended up getting burnt in the flames of the burning sun. Be patient now, love.
“I’m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we’re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we’ll ever have, and I am in love with you.” - John Green, The Fault in Our Stars _______________ “Her heart was a secret garden and the walls were very high.” - William Goldman, The Princess Bride _________________ “I envy people that know love. I wanted you to be happy not live a life that’s so crappy. I wanted the best for you. I really do. I wanted you to find yourself. Be whoever you wanna be. I wanted you to color your own world instead of painting it black and white. I wanted you to be your own knight. The one who saves people at night. I wanted you to be brave. Not the one digging his own grave. I wanted you to feel contentment. Feel every moment. Be here, not there. I wanted you to participate in life. Not create your own strife. I wanted you to find joy in everything that you do. A glee for every right thing you’re doing. I wanted you to do the best you can. To be the best version of yourself. Not the one that hides in a shelf. I wanted you to be free. I wanted you to see. I wanted you to forget me.
I don’t like you anymore. For I have learned to love you.
Three years of feeling so much for someone like you is I guess enough for this heart of mine to break.
I liked you a lot. Not for how you look. Nor how intelligent you are. I’ve come to realize that it’s not even because of your poems. Or how close our music tastes are. I’ve just found out that I just really like you. I have no reasons. I just really do.
And my heart has no reasons to break too. But it did.
This is going to take me a long while. I’m going to keep on saying that I am fine with you being happy even when it kinda hurts until I can get over this heavy feeling I am feeling lately.
This is me, not saying goodbye.
Just trying my best to let these feelings go away.
Like a dust.
Turn to rust.
Until I can’t be swayed.
I seriously thought that there’s a continuation to the acts I’ve read. So it was only until Act V? I am dying to know if Eliza did marry Freddy or she ended up being back at Henry Higgins’ side.
I haven’t watched the play nor have any inkling about who played who in the play. I was imagining that Henry Higgins is a man of air. But I’m also seriously, quietly, hoping and wishing that Eliza and he would end up together. 😦
